Chicago Sky center Kamilla Cardoso scored 21 points and logged 16 rebounds in another Shanghai win, according to a Friday tweet from
Chinese Women's Hoop Show.

The 6-foot-7 center added five assists and three blocks as her Shanghai Swordfish defeated the Shanxi Flame in a 79-62 win. Her stellar all-around performance followed up a 20-point outing in a Christmas Eve loss to Guangdong, which saw Shanghai forward Crystal Bradford 27 points and 17 rebounds. Cardoso is averaging a team-leading 20.2 points on an efficient 61.5% from the field. Bradford, a former first-round pick for the Los Angeles Sparks, is leading the squad with 12.6 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game.

Both Cardoso and Sky guard Chennedy Carter have been putting on a show for their respective Women's Chinese Basketball Association teams. Carter is leading the league with an astounding 30.3 points per game. She has netted four WCBA Player of the Week selections, while Cardoso has earned one. Myisha Hines-Allen, who is leading the Heilongjiang Dragons in multiple categories, has earned the award four times this season.

Sky forward Brianna Turner logged four assists, one steal and two blocks for the Adelaide Lightning of the Australian Women's National Basketball League on Friday. Adelaide fell in a 95-67 loss to the Bendigo Spirit, who feature two WNBA guards from last season in Sami Whitcomb and Veronica Burton. Turner is proving herself as a leader on the boards and the defensive end for the fourth-ranked Lightning. She leads the squad in rebounds, blocks and steals in her 12 games played. She ranks just behind Perth Lynx forward Anneli Maley for second place in the WNBL in rebounds per contest. Maley played in four games for the Sky during the 2022 season before being signed to Chicago's training camp roster in early 2023.
