Former Chicago Sky forward Isabelle Harrison signed with the New York Liberty, the team announced in a Friday tweet. She was signed to a training camp contract, according to the WNBA’s transactions report.

Harrison, a former 1st-round pick for the Phoenix Mercury, played in 36 games and started in five for the Sky during their 2024 campaign. The 6-foot-3 forward averaged 6.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. She will join a WNBA champion roster that tied for first with the Sky in rebounds per game last season. Harrison has been suiting up for Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball this offseason, where she is just ahead of a new Sky guard in Kia Nurse for seventh place on the league's leaderboard.

While the Sky have added some extra firepower at both guard spots, the signing will leave Chicago with the need to add an extra backup forward.

The Sky have three bigs, including their star-studded duo of forward Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso, under contract. Forward Brianna Turner, a 6-year veteran forward and a 2-time All-Defensive team selection, signed with the Indiana Fever last week. Center Elizabeth Williams is still under contract and can be a solid option off the bench. Williams has proven her worth with Athletes Unlimited as she sits at one point behind Maya Caldwell for fifth place in the league's standings.

Chicago is in no shortage of reliable guards to work with during the 2025 WNBA season. Nurse, Courtney Vandersloot and Rebecca Allen joined the Sky this offseason through trade or free agency signings. The Sky were in need of extra shooting and passing options as the offseason began, but can continue to address their biggest needs via next April's draft. Chicago still has plenty of cap space and a handful of roster spots to work with before the start of next season.
