The Chicago Sky should select at least 2 of these players in the 2025 WNBA Draft

With the Ariel Atkins trade locked in, the team still has the No. 10, 16, and 22 overall picks

Almost as quickly as the idea the Sky could draft Georgia Amoore as the 3rd overall pick in this year's WNBA Draft landed, Chicago surprised a lot of people and traded the pick for Ariel Atkins.

Atkins will bring a lot to Chicago, and the full potential of the decision will be played out live once the season begins. With the No. 3 pick off the table, the Sky will currently draft players at No. 10, 16, and 22.

The addition of Atkins solved some problems Chicago was facing. It's unlikely Amoore will drop to the No. 10 spot, and we can't rule out the team deciding to trade away the 10th draft pick as well — it's clear the Sky hopes to make a playoff run this season, and it wouldn't be a surprise if they bring in another talented vet who can help make that happen.

But for now, there are 3 spots on the table for Chicago. Here's who they should draft in 2025 (if they keep all of their picks in the first place):

Shyanne Sellers as the No. 10 pick

For the time being, Sellers still makes sense for Chicago as the tenth pick if she is still available at that point. Sellers has steadily improved her game all season and would be a great addition to the team's backcourt. She would also be an excellent student for Courtney Vandersloot, who has much to teach.

At 6'2", Sellers also fits the wishes of GM Jeff Pagliocca, who has stated more than once that he's looking to draft guards over 6'0".

If Sellers isn't available, other options include Azzi Fudd (who could be drafted in several spots during the first and second round, to be honest, but might go round one based on reputation alone) and Aziaha James (who could grow into a Courtney Williams-esque guard even if she's shorter than Pagliocca wants).

Maddy Westbeld as the No. 16 pick

Chicago also needs back-up for Angel Reese, and that's where Maddy Westbeld enters the chat. The 6'3" forward could serve as a great sub for Reese and would also benefit from learning her game. Westbeld can play on the perimeter; shoot 3s, at the mid-range, and in the post; and is a solid defender who will be just as capable of playing with Reese as she will be backing her up.

If Westbeld drafts higher (and there's plenty that indicates she might), Ole Miss' Madison Scott would be an excellent backup for the back up.

Sara Puckett as the No. 22 pick

If Chicago doesn't draft a forward at No. 16, Tennessee's Sara Puckett could be a great addition to the team. She hasn't been getting quite as much draft attention as other players, but she has a lot to offer. Puckett has steadily improved her game all season, and has demonstrated that she's not scared to take big shots — and, crucially, that she can hit them when she needs to.

Other options include Makala Thompson and Zaay Green, both of whom are likely to be available at 22.
