The Chicago Sky will be represented by plenty of past talent in the upcoming Unrivaled 3-on-3 league. Chicago forward Angel Reese will be the Sky's lone active representative when the league tips off later this month. She will team up with five other players from across the WNBA landscape. Two once donned a Sky uniform in their WNBA careers.

Reese, who capped off her notable rookie season with a spot on the All-Rookie team, will suit up for the Rose Basketball Club. The team will face off against the Vinyl Basketball club on Jan. 17. Under the guidance of former Chicago Sky head coach Teresa Weatherspoon, Vinyl BC will be headlined by an All-WNBA Second Team selection in Dallas Wings guard Arike Ogunbowale.

Kahleah Copper

The former Rutgers standout was a part of a 2017 trade that sent an MVP forward in Elena Delle Donne to the Washington Mystics. Copper would blossom into a star for Chicago, where she earned three All-Star selections and played a pivotal role in securing the Sky's first-ever WNBA championship. Copper was selected to the All-WNBA Second Team after a stellar season with the Phoenix Mercury that saw her break out into one of the league's top scorers.

Copper first returned to Wintrust Arena in August. She would drop 29 points on her former squad off a flurry of acrobatic layups and long-range tries. Copper could prove to be a valuable scoring option alongside Reese and a stellar supporting cast, one that includes players who have gained league-wide recognition in the past.

Chelsea Gray

Gray earned an All-Star selection and a spot on Team USA last season. The three-time All-WNBA guard played in 27 games and started in 25 in 2024. Gray is a two-time teammate of former Sky forward Candace Parker. The two won a pair of WNBA championships with the Aces and Los Angeles Sparks seven years apart.

Gray suited up against the Sky in four games last season, where she separated herself as a floor general for the Aces with an average of just under seven assists per matchup. She dished 10 assists in a September win over the Sky. Gray used her court vision to make plenty of ways in the halfcourt. She could pair well with Copper and some of Rose BC's better shooting options.

Brittney Sykes

Sykes played and started in 18 games for the Mystics last season. The defensive star has earned four All-Defensive selections from 2020-23. She took second place in the league's Defensive Player of the Year voting as a member of the Sparks in 2021. The award would ultimately go to legendary center Sylvia Fowles, who spent seven seasons in Chicago before being traded to the Minnesota Lynx in 2015.

Sykes played in two late-season matchups against Chicago last season. The 5-foot-9 guard proved to be invaluable for the Mystics on both sides of the floor in a dominant September win over the Sky. She led the Mystics with seven assists as she pulled off crafty passes near the basket and off the pick-and-roll. The two-time steal champion can be a fun option to look out for when paired with Copper or Rose BC's big options.

Azura Stevens

Stevens signed with the Sparks in 2023. She has proven to be a reliable starter after spending three seasons with the Sky. The 6-foot-6 forward has averaged 10.4 points and 6.3 rebounds in her two seasons with Los Angeles. Stevens was a teammate of current Chicago center Elizabeth Williams at Duke and two top-4 Sky selections at UConn.

Stevens geared up for two matchups against the Sky last season. The all-around big logged 10 points, six rebounds, four assists and two blocks in a close loss to Chicago in August. She can be a reliable glue option for Rose BC alongside her old teammate in Copper and a strong frontcourt pairing with Reese.

Lexie Hull

Hull has spent the last three seasons with the Indiana Fever, where she broke out into one of the team's more reliable shooters last season. The sharpshooting guard averaged a career high of just above 47% from the 3-point line last season. She highlighted a defining season for the Fever with six made 3-pointers on seven tries in a win over the Seattle Storm. She seemingly could not miss off of catch-and-shoot opportunities, which ultimately led Indiana to its first and only win over Seattle of the season.

Hull's sharpshooting would ultimately carry over into a late-August win over the Sky at Wintrust Arena. Despite going 1-3 from the arc over her first two games against Chicago, Hull would drill three of her four tries as she continued to find open shots off the ball. The former Stanford guard's stellar shooting can make her a strong spark plug and a fun pairing with some of the Rose BC's better passers.
