Meet The Team
Alex Sabri
Alex Sabri started as the Site Expert of Chicago Sky Daily in December 2024. He also contributes to FanSided's King James Gospel. The Purdue graduate has just over 2.25 years of collegiate and professional sports and local journalism experience and a few more years of sports blogging experience. Though he specializes in covering the Chicago Sky and Cleveland Cavaliers for FanSided, his interests include the NBA, WNBA, NFL, Cleveland Guardians, and college football and basketball.
Elaine Blum
Elaine Blum is the Site Expert at Orlando Magic Daily. She has been writing about the NBA and WNBA since 2021. Elaine received a bachelor's degree in English and journalism and is currently completing her master's degree with a focus on women's studies and intersectionality in literature and pop culture. In her free time, she enjoys playing basketball with her teammates, reading, and traveling across Europe.

The idea of FanSided was born in 2007, when two brothers felt that their favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs, was being under-covered by the mainstream media. Taking matters into their own hands, they launched Arrowhead Addict, a move that would spawn the creation of FanSided in 2009, a network of over 300+ fan-powered unique sports, entertainment and lifestyle sites dedicated to team-specific, sport-specific, genre-specific, and fanbase-specific coverage.
